What is so special about fairs? Let me tell you why I love being at fairs and representing us so much: I sit at the office everyday from Monday through Friday and spend a lot of time calling and e-mailing with our future au pairs, helping and guiding them through the process. I love the moments when you get to experience the au pairs getting excited when they are finally done with their application and have been selected to be part of our program, when they have just spoken to their first match even though they were super-nervous and especially when the host family and the au pair have said yes to each other - and so many other moments! But now we get to my favorite part - lot of the contact we have is mainly over phone or e-mail... but at the fairs we actually get to meet all of you lovely people face to face! I love how at fairs we can inspire others, especially people who had not even heard of our program before! I get to stand there for hours, talk about my own great experience and encourage others to apply to experience the same! Thank you everyone who came and said hi to us at the fairs - it was so nice seeing you!
